Esterdahl's roots
can be traced to downtown Moline where A.V. Esterdahl opened Esterdahl Mortuary
in 1891. For more than 110 years the name "Esterdahl" has meant quality
funeral service in the Quad-City Area. Mary Ann Krebs, current owner, carried
on the business's mission after the death of her husband, Phil Krebs, in 1998.
Phil started with Esterdahl's in 1965 washing cars, gaining knowledge and education
prior to becoming a partner with the funeral home. Today, the family tradition
A.V. Esterdahl began in 1891 continues as Mary Ann's three children; Meaghan,
Chip and Bart, along with President Sandy Bingman commit themselves to you and
your family.
The new facility
off John Deere Rd. opened in June of 2001 in preparation for the next generation!
