Deborah DeMeyer

Deborah S. DeMeyer, 74, of Lascassas, TN, passed away Thursday November 16, 2023, at Vanderbilt Wilson County Hospital in Lebanon, Tennessee.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday November 21, 2023, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 1301 4th Street Orion.  Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services at the funeral home.  Interment will be at Western Township Cemetery.  Memorials may be made to your favorite animal shelter. 

Deborah was born on August 30, 1949, in Silvis, IL, the daughter of Francis and Pearl (Adamson) Huggins. She married Maurice “Dick” on April 6, 1968, the two later divorced and he passed on May 25, 2004. Deborah was a member of the Lascassas Church of Christ in Lascassas.

Survivors include her children, Susan (Howard) Dettmann of Lascassas and Joseph (Jackie) DeMeyer of Lynn Center; grandchildren, Justin Tropf of Coal Valley, Kayla Tropf of Murfreesboro, TN, Jillian DeMeyer of Lynn Center, Taylor (Billy) Sowers of Norwich, Connecticut; great-grandchildren Cayden Ritter and Skylar Tucker of Murfreesboro, TN; sisters, Paula Page of Lake Forrest, CA and Vickie (Steve) Stone of Andover, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Francis; son, James; siblings, Sandra Thornbloom, Jackie Johnson, and Randy Huggins.
