Obituary
Dorathy J. Bielema, 98, of Milan passed away on Saturday, May 7, 2022 Avonlea Cottage of the Quad Cities in Milan.
Private family services will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens. Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
Dorathy was born on April 18, 1924 in Tampico, Illinois the daughter of Harry and Grace Wroton Renner. She married Walter E. Swanson on June 26, 1942 in Kahoka, Missouri he preceded her in death in June of 1977. She later married Marian “Mike” Bielema and he also preceded her.
Dorathy was a homemaker and loved taking care of her family but most important was being a mom.
Survivors include her children; Michael Swanson, Robert (Sinda) Swanson, and Phyllis (Steve) Hampton; 12 grandchildren and many great and great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her 2 husbands.
