James Anders

James Allen Anders, 55, of Rock Island, passed away, Sunday, May 24, 2020.

Family services will be held at Church of God, Davenport.  Due to current restrictions, a limited number of people will be in attendance.  Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery Moline.  Memorials may be made to the family.  Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd. Moline is assisting the family.

James was born on September 10, 1964 in Moline, the son of Robert Eugene and Mary Lou (McGruder) Anders. He previously worked in construction.

Survivors include his children; Cidney Curtis Anders, Stephen Darnell Anders, Courtney Jalane Anders, siblings; Cassandra (Sylvester) Oputa, Lisa (Terry) Patrick, Anita Johnson, Timothy (Yaveta) Johnson, Anthony DeKeyser, Rubin Espinoza, second mother; Cheryl Johnson, special cousin; “ Uncle” Curtis Anders, grandchildren; Aliyah Jalane Anders and Izabella Blackwell.  He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews that will miss him dearly.

He was preceded in death by his parents; and siblings; Debra Teresa Anders, Cherie Jalane Anders, Stephan Eugene Anders.
