Kenneth R. Noe, 82, of Andover, passed away Friday, September 25, 2020, at Clarissa C. Cook Hospice House.

Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, September 29, 2020 at Western Township Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, September 28, 2020, at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., Orion.  Military Honors will be conducted.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or Genesis Hospice.  In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.

A special thank you to Genesis Hospice and Henry County Home Health.  A special thank you to Maggie, Bev, and Gail for their wonderful care.

Kenneth was born on April 15, 1938, in Modale, Iowa, the son of Lester and Pearl (Santie) Noe.  He was a U.S. Veteran, serving in the Air Force from 1958-1962 and was a current member of the Andover American Legion Post #465.  He married Sandra Jean Alyea on April 3, 1965, in Milan.  She preceded him in death on September 15, 2010.  He was employed for 37 years with the Local 81 Asbestos Workers in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, retiring in 1994.  When he was younger, he enjoyed playing and coaching baseball with his kids. He loved spending his time watching baseball, fishing, and attending his grandkids’ events.

Survivors include his children, Colene (Klaus) Tracy, New Windsor, Todd (Krista) Noe, Moline, Joel Noe, Aledo, Deanna (Michael) West, Orion, Chris (Kevin) Nelson, Tama, IA; 18 grandchildren, Greg Tracy, Chelsea Noe, Tyler Noe, Dayton Tharp, Mike Noe, Eathan Noe, Laramie Noe, Dakota Noe, Cody Hutcherson, Austin Hutcherson, Brayden Hutcherson, Drew West, Samuel West, Seth West, Malerie West, Blake Nelson, Brandon Nelson, & Brianna Nelson; brothers, Donald “Duck” Noe, Las Cruses and Joe Forrest, Charleston, MO; special friends, Steve & Sue Livesay, Garey & Joetta Carey and Bobbie Berg.

He was preceded in death by his wife; parents; sisters, Louise Headley, Marie Forrest, Maxine Roney and Betty Dye; brothers, John Noe, Darrel Noe, Dutch Noe, Dean Noe, and Gary Noe.
