Obituary
Lois Schaeffer was called home to heaven on November 22, 2021, by Jesus, her Lord and Savoir
Visitation will be at 1:00 pm on Sunday November 28, 2021, at Holy Cross Lutheran Church 4107 21st Ave, Moline, IL 61265. Funeral services will directly follow at 2:00 pm at the church. Graveside service will be 10 am Monday 29, 2021, at Moline Memorial Park. Memorials may be made to Holy Cross seminary or mission program.
Lois was born on December 25, 1928, in Elgin, IL. She married her high school sweetheart, Robert Schaeffer, on June 24, 1950.
Lois was a homemaker, who was a skilled cook and seamstress. She was an active member of Holy Cross Lutheran Church for many years, a member of Valpo Guild, and enjoyed various types of volunteer work.
Survivors include her children, Cynthia Westmoreland, Rock Hill, SC; Kathryn Gerendas, Moline; Joan Hull, Geneva, IL; and Bill (Patty) Schaeffer, Moline; as well as 5 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert in 2002.
