Marysue Stolbom, 68 of Moline, passed away March 21, 2011 at Select Specialty Hospital, Davenport.
Funeral services are 10:00 a.m., Saturday, March 26th at Homewood Evangelical Free Church, 3303-60th Street,
Moline. Visitation is from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. on Friday at Esterdahl Mortuary & Crematory, Ltd., 6601-38th Avenue, Moline. Burial is in Rose Lawn Memorial Estate Cemetery, Moline. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to her church, Homewood Evangelical Free Church.
Sue was born on January 20, 1943 in Ottumwa, Iowa the daughter of Rex and Irene Wiley Black. She married Wayne Stolbom on March 2, 1963 in Moline.
Sue was previously employed as a surgical technician at the former Moline Public Hospital before she began raising her family. She was very active at her church where she served as Sunday School teacher, an Awana leader and a volunteer for many other services at the church. She was also active in Christian Women's Club. She truly loved people, life and especially her family.
