Paul Trammel, 96, of Yukon, passed away, Friday, November 20, 2020, in Yukon, OK.
A private graveside service will be at Greenview Memorial Gardens, East Moline. Memorials may be made to the family. In accordance with restrictions, attendees are expected to wear a face mask and observe social distancing.
Paul was born on July 24, 1924, in Putnam County, MO, the son of Charles and Leah (Bradshaw) Trammel. He married Ruth Crump on February 28, 1948 in Unionville, MO. Paul was a veteran serving in the United States Army during WWII. He was a former member of the Church of Christ, Moline and a current member of Church of Christ, Yukon. Paul worked for Burlington Trucking as a truck driver for over 30 years. He enjoyed fishing, woodworking, building things and any kind of mechanical work.
Survivors include his wife, Ruth; and daughters, Deborah Nichols, and Vickie Baumwart; grandchildren, Amy (Erich) Kantsperger, Cody (Jennifer) Nichols; 8 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchild; sisters-in-law, Roselee Trammel, Betty Hearn, Shirley Johnson, and Jean Crump.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John Trammel.
