Theodore "Ted" "LB" Ray Cole

Theodore “Ted” “LB” Ray Cole, 69, of Moline, passed away Tuesday November 14, 2023, at Genesis Medical Center Silvis Campus.

Memorial services will be held Friday, November 17, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Esterdahl Mortuary and Crematory, Ltd.  Celebration of Life will be held on Monday, November 20, 2023, from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Leisure Time Billiards, 845 Avenue of the Cities, East Moline, IL 61244. Ted was born on August 21, 1954, in Ohio, the son of Irene (Twardoski) Tyler and William C. Tyler. He married Jennifer Cole on October 14, 2005, in Moline, IL. In Ted’s early years, he worked on the Rock Island Line. He later worked in the music and game industry. He could fix and make anything run. Ted was a veteran, having served in the US Navy. He also loved bass fishing and playing pool.

Survivors include his wife, Jennifer (Park) Cole; daughters Rhiannon (Jeff) Dennis, Marcie Nipper, and Natalie Nipper; granddaughter Anna Dennis; siblings Fritz (Carol) Felske and Theresa (Jay) Sudvary.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandmother, Rose Twardoski.
